Valora wins red dot design award

For its annual report 2011, Valora received the renowned red dot award “communication design 2012”. Additionally, Valora’s annual report 2011 was awarded by the magazine BILANZ where it reached third place in the ranking among all analyzed print versions for its design.

The red dot design award is a popular worldwide design competition and awards outstanding achievements in the field of communications on a yearly basis. The award itself, the “red dot”, is a quality label for excellent design. Valora is pleased that the jury awarded its annual report 2011 with the red dot award “communication design 2012”. As a consequence, the annual report 2011 by Valora will be featured in the “international yearbook communication design 2012/2013” and Valora can call itself a “red dot” winner.

Valora’s annual report 2011 has furthermore convinced the jury of an annual report rating by the magazine BILANZ. With rank 3 among all “print versions” for its design Valora was able to improve its ranking in 2012 from rank 6 to 3 compared to 2011. This result is in line with all the top results in the past years.

The red dot award “communication design” reviews the work of creatives, design-freelancer or digital artists from medium-sized PR and web agencies as well as clients of the communications industry. Students as well as upcoming designers are also invited to enter the challenge. The red dot award: communications design is awarded every year.

The BILANZ-rating of annual reports is the biggest rating in this vein in Switzerland and organized by the HarbourClub, Swiss organization of Chief Communications Officers. In 2012 233 annual reports were ranked.
